“This was I guess feels quite self explanatory. First we wrote the beautiful piano part and it instinctively felt sad to me. I heard loss in the piano part and the words If I Never Said Goodbye just came out. I have to be honest and say I wasn’t personally going through anything in this song when I wrote it but I’d been there before and it was nice to be able to write a song I knew for sure almost everyone had been through at some point in there lives.  “
