“I wrote this song in Nashville last year on a writing trip. When I met Chris and Steven that day it didn’t take long to figure out these were 2 guys who feel the same way as I do about Music. Chris openly shared with us the tragic loss of his dad from covid. He told us how difficult he had found it to process and the anger he felt towards the world for taking his dad away so early. I really felt his hurt that day. He sad he dreamt about him the night before and his dad told him that the most important thing here on earth is to keep the ones you love really close. That resonated with me a lot and we just started writing that very thing down. I’m really proud of how we worded this one.”
